Since 1988 Durham Project Graduation has worked to provide a safe, supervised, substance-free, all-night acknowledgement of achievement and education for Durham’s high school seniors.  Activities at this event include dancing, fellowship, games, physical challenges and scholarship drawings, as well as food and beverages. Best of all, this is free for all Durham graduates. Last year alone, we were able to recognize and engage over 1300 students!

Project Graduation relies solely on contributions and donations to ensure that Durham’s graduating seniors and a guest can experience this important rite of passage without the dangers of alcohol, drugs or violence so often found at private graduation gatherings. We are a completely volunteer run organization and 100% of all donations go towards this worthwhile effort.

Could we count on you?

In order to continue acknowledging Durham’s young people, we ask for your support today.  Will you make a tax deductible gift to Project Graduation? Your contribution makes it possible for us to reserve space, provide entertainment and fund scholarships that can be used at our graduates’ next learning destinations.  Gifts of any amount are appreciated and all donors will be recognized on our website, social media extensions, at the event and in the Durham Herald Sun (unless you wish to remain anonymous).
